Ljubljana, 02 October (STA) - Telekom Slovenije, the state-owned telecoms incumbent, has agreed to sell its Bosnian subsidiary Blicnet to telco Telekomunikacije Republike Srpske from Banja Luka for an undisclosed amount. Telekom expects the sale to be concluded by the end of the year pending a successful resolution of suspensive conditions.
According to a release published by Telekom on Tuesday, the sale of Blicnet is in line with the the group's business plan for this year and its strategy.
The group would not disclose the details of the deal for the acquisition of its 100% stake in Blicnet until it is concluded.
Blicnet, headquartered in Banja Luka, employs 105 people. It was acquired by Telekom Slovenije for EUR 390,000 in 2006.
